About

Singer, Songwriter, and Worship Leader Kelvin Pitts realized early in life that he had a special musical gift. At the age of five, he began singing in the church choir at Old Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in his home town of Conyers, Georgia. Kelvin’s love for music did not stop with singing, as he matured he was given the position of choir director and took on many leadership roles in the music department at his church.

He quotes, “The things that have remained consistent with me all of my life are my love for music, singing and God’s church.”

In 1997, Kelvin attended the University of West Georgia where he received a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management. However, he continued to express his love for music by becoming a pillar member of The United Voices Gospel Choir. In 2000, he took on the role as President of the choir and assumed the duties of teaching parts, selecting songs, and conducting choir concerts.

Kelvin’s musical influences range from gospel great Daryl Coley to Christian Contemporary artist Chris Tomlin. His love and passion for music has afforded him the opportunity to sing background for such artists as Claudius Craig & Loose the Familiar, Sha’ Simpson, and Keshia McFarland, to name a few.

“Kelvin Pitts reminds me of the psalmist David; a man after God's own heart. His passion to live and worship with integrity is revealed when he ushers congregations into the presence of God. This great gift to the body of Christ certainly deserves to be exposed to the nations!”
Pastor Darius Elder, Atlanta, GA

In October 2006, Kelvin went on a mission trip to Malawi, Africa where he ministered in song for two weeks. During his time in Malawi, he traveled to several churches in the area leading worship services and teaching on worship. In December 2007, he also traveled to Italy, Europe for a three week gospel singing tour with the group Positive Minds for Christ. While in Italy, he accomplished one of his dreams of releasing his first worship cd, ‘I Love You’, which comprised three of his written works.

With a mission to “increase people’s standard of living by teaching them how to praise and worship God, developing worshipers that daily honor Him,” Kelvin pursued and received an Associate of Worship Arts degree from the Worship Arts Conservatory in August 2008. He formerly served as a Worship Leader at Total Grace Christian Center, n/k/a Grace Church International, from 2002 to 2009, where he was commissioned and licensed as a Minister of Worship & Arts. Kelvin served as the Worship Director at Discover Life Church in Dunwoody, Georgia from 2009 to 2018.

A close second to Kelvin's passion for music is financial coaching.  He has been helping people manage their money since his first career as a Personal Banker at f/k/a Wachovia Bank in Atlanta, GA, post graduation from college.  After giving much advice and counsel over the years, he officially decided to start his own financial coaching practice in 2020.  Charged with a goal to make as many people as possible, "Financially Fit," he pursued and achieved a Financial Coach certification from Dave Ramsey Financial Coach Master Training in December 2020.
